Chief's Naturals didn't start as a dog treat company - it started with Chief. For years, our Bernedoodle, Chief, reviewed dog treats and toys with a community of more than 100,000 dog lovers through Chief Chews. After opening hundreds of bags, reading endless ingredient labels, and seeing firsthand what was being marketed as "healthy," one thing became impossible to ignore: finding treats made with simple, trustworthy ingredients was far harder than it should have been. We realized we couldn't confidently recommend many of the products we were reviewing, so instead of waiting for someone else to make better treats, we decided to create them ourselves.
